Autodesk Revit is a CAD system with BIM capability from the first concept up to completion of construction; the 2014 version enables the display of point clouds to model existing buildings.

As navigating and modeling in point clouds is time-consuming and complex, PointCab 4Revit is a solution that was developed to support efficient and simple 3D modeling with point clouds and Revit.

PointCab 4BIMm can be used to evaluate point clouds easily, quickly, and efficiently in ARCHICAD and to create building models.

As the import option for point clouds in ARCHICAD 19 only supports a limited point cloud size of a few hundred million points and navigating and modeling with point clouds are difficult, PointCab 4BIMm provides a solution that can also be used to evaluate very large point cloud projects efficiently.
